City planning for future of Chief Garry Park area

The City of Spokane is inviting citizens to get involved in planning for the future of the Chief Garry Park Neighborhood. A public workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 24 to gather input from residents.

The Chief Garry Park neighborhood, one of Spokane’s oldest neighborhoods, has been working with the City to develop a plan for the area’s future. The workshop on Feb. 24 will be the first of three public meetings throughout a 12 month planning period for the neighborhood. Members of the community are encouraged to participate and share ideas and visions for the area.

Refreshments and children’s activities will also be offered at the workshop.
