Excelsior Offering Outreach for Seniors

Excelsior is extending an invitation to seniors to gather every Tuesday. Beginning Tuesday, November 21, a variety of activities and opportunities will be offered for them to participate in and receive.

“Seniors are invited to socialize, have a morning snack, read the paper, and play cards if that is what they wish,” said, Karen Kearney, Excelsior’s Community Development and Outreach Coordinator. “Seniors can also offer ideas on desired activities and speakers they would like to hear during that time.”

When: 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Where: 3754 W. Indian Trail Road

Excelsior clients will also be available to rake leaves and shovel snow for the center’s neighbors with physical challenges.

Fire wood will also be available for those who find themselves in dire need.
