SPOKANE - In alignment with the joint Administration-Council Strategic Plan, One Spokane, Mayor David Condon is planning a collaborative transition process designed to facilitate continued momentum of the City of Spokane, its employees, and the administration.
The Mayor has outlined a final 100-day plan that connects City employees with new leadership, provides opportunities to set mutual goals, and reports on the successes of One Spokane. The plan bookends his 8-year term as Mayor and his initial 100-day action plan in 2012.
“Our government is built on the smooth and effective transition of power,” said Mayor Condon. “This transition plan exemplifies the vision and goals of the One Spokane Strategic Plan by outlining an efficient, collaborative, and resilient transition.”
“I can’t wait to share highlights of what our community has accomplished together over the past 8 years. Spokane has achieved exceptional results, and we are poised to continue along this path,” the Mayor said.
Meanwhile, Mayor Condon is maintaining his focus forward and the City’s pace toward ongoing goals and projects.
Mayor Condon will be available for media to ask questions about the plan and transition today, Monday, September 23 in the afternoon. To schedule, please contact Fianna Dickson at fdickson@spokanecity.org or 435.1866.
