Parking meters don’t have to be plugged on Monday, Oct. 12, because of the Indigenous Peoples Day holiday. Garbage pickup and curbside recycling will proceed on a normal schedule.

The Spokane City Council briefing session and legislative meeting will be held on their regular schedule on Monday, Oct. 12, at 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Meetings are shown live on CityCable 5, the City’s government-access cable station, and are streamed on the web at spokanecity.org. Citizens who want to provide testimony on an item on the Council’s agenda can learn more on the City’s web site.
