3:30 p.m. - SPD locates, contains and arrests repeat domestic violence perpetrator. He was booked into jail on seven felony domestic violence charges.

Spokane Flag Commission to Seek Design Submissions for a new Flag

12:07 p.m. - Starting Sept. 1, the Flag Commission will begin accepting submissions for a design for a new City flag. Designs can be turned in until Oct. 1.

DUI Crash

11:03 a.m. - SPD and SFD responded to a car crash where the vehicle ran through a house. The driver was placed under arrest for DUI.

SPD Responds To a Domestic Violence Call

10:56 a.m. - SPD responded to a domestic violence call. When Officers moved in to make an arrest, the suspect used his child as a shield to avoid going to jail.

Reckless Driving Arrest Leads to SIX Illegally Possessed Firearms

7:59 p.m. - An officer on a break from court Monday saw a reckless driver on North Division. In the end, the driver was booked for 8 felonies and 3 misdemeanors.

5:10 p.m. - Spokane Fire Department responded to the 100-block of West Gray Court for a report of a possible brush fire.

Spokane Falls to be closed second weekend in September

2:35 p.m. - Spokane Falls Boulevard will be closed from Howard to Monroe streets from Friday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. until Monday, Sept. 14, at 5 a.m.
