Browne’s Addition is scheduled to be plowed Saturday, Dec. 3, and Sunday, Dec. 4, as the City continues work under its Full-City plow.

Browne’s Addition plow schedule:

  • Saturday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., east and west streets
  • Sunday, Dec. 4, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., north and south streets

Cars must be moved from the east-west streets on Saturday and the north-south streets on Sunday to give the plows room to work. The City has been working with the Browne’s Addition Neighborhood Council to provide more effective snow plowing. Because the streets are so narrow in Browne’s Addition, the plows cannot get through with parked vehicles lining the streets.

Signs are placed at the entrances of Browne’s Addition announcing the plowing schedule.

A Full-City plow was declared during the Wednesday, Nov. 30, snowstorm, and crews started plowing residential areas Thursday, Dec. 1. A Full-City plow reaching all 2,200 lane miles of streets should take about three days to complete after the snow stops. The snow map for residential plowing is updated regularly and can be viewed here.
