Traffic impacts due to construction projects beginning Monday include:

North Monroe St. – expect delays Monday

  • Monroe St. will be CLOSED between Kiernan Ave. and Francis Ave. on Monday, July 15 for paving. Please use the detours in place.  
  • The intersection of Garland Ave. and Monroe St. will be fully closed to eastbound and westbound traffic Monday, July 15, only.

North Market St. – lane reductions begin Monday

  • Northbound and southbound Market St. will be reduced to one lane in each direction between the Greene Street Bridge and Wellesley Ave.

West Queen Ave. – rough road

  • The Streets Department is continuing the grind and overlay project on Queen Ave. between Division St. and Wall St. causing rough driving conditions and slowdowns July 15-19.

WSDOT Freya St. Roundabout – CLOSED

  • On Monday, the Washington State Department of Transportation is closing the south roundabout and northbound off-ramp from the North Spokane Corridor to Freya St. This closure will last 20 days.
