Mayor Lisa Brown delivered her third annual Statement of Conditions and Affairs address Tuesday night, reflecting on the progress made over the past year and outlining the work ahead.
For the first time, the mayor’s annual address was held at the Garland Theater, making it more accessible to residents, neighborhood leaders, community partners and others who help shape Spokane.
Mayor Brown’s remarks focused on three main topics: the Old Trails Fire response and recovery, the City of Spokane’s housing and homelessness response, and community safety, specifically work to develop a new City-operated 911 system.
The event was centered around three videos on each topic, featuring interviews with members of the mayor’s Cabinet and community partners. Those videos can be found below:
