Happy Week of the Irish.

Join me at noon on Saturday for the 2014 St. Patrick's Day Parade. The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, a local nonprofit organization founded in 1979, puts on the parade. It's a great family event and chance for Spokane to invite its friends and neighbors downtown as the start to a busy festival and event season.

Remember to wear your green. Happy early St. Patrick's Day.
