The Earth Day Spokane all-volunteer organizing committee has partnered up with Riverfront Park to celebrate Earth Day Spokane on Saturday, April 26th. National Earth Day is officially on the 22nd of April, and we'd like to invite you out to celebrate with us the following Saturday.

This year's national Earth Day theme is "Green Cities." Earth Day Spokane and the City of Spokane would like to celebrate the work being done to keep our city's land, water and air protected. In honor of the 40th Anniversary of Expo '74, our city's progress to become more environmentally friendly over the past four decades will be highlighted.

Opening remarks for the day will also be kicked off by Spokane City Councilman, Jon Snyder. In joining us for Earth Day Spokane, you can look forward to enjoying a variety of entertainment including: Cooper Elementary School Dancers and Drummers, Broken Whistle, Shadle Park Pipe Band, Bodhi Drip, Tommy Gantt, and more!

Bring the kids, get involved and look forward to a fun and educational Saturday! Music, food, kid's activities, demonstrations and workshops will keep you busy for a day at Riverfront Park!
