The sun is shining and spring has arrived! The Friends of the Moore-Turner Heritage Gardens would like to invite you to come celebrate the spring opening of the Moore-Turner Heritage Gardens with special guest Phyllis Stephens. This event will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2014 at the Corbin Art Center (507 W 7th AVE, Spokane) and the adjacent gardens.

At 2 p.m., Garden Authority, Phyllis Stephens, will present “A Splash of Color” at the Corbin Arts Center. The cost for this part of the event is $10 at the door with limited seating (entrance is free to members of Friends of Moore-Turner Heritage Gardens).

After the presentation, garden visitors will learn about the 1900's lifestyle of the Moore and Turner families about Kirkland Cutter (designer of many of the historic homes on 7th avenue) and will have the chance to visit the newly restored, award-winning, hillside Moore-Turner Heritage Gardens. Spring is the perfect time of year to view bulbs and shrubs in bloom!
