Join us this September as The City of Spokane observes Hispanic Heritage Month, which celebrates the contributions, history, culture, and experiences of Hispanic and Latino-Americans in the United States. The month-long celebration also commemorates a multiplicity of independence holidays across Latin America.
Official City events will kick off with a reception in Chase Gallery (City Hall, lower level) on Sept. 2 and continue throughout the month in a variety of fun, educational events and festivities. These include a black-tie Gala fundraiser for scholarships, a community Festival in Riverfront Park, and a film series highlighting a variety of themes and topics germane to the Hispano-Latino experience in America.
Follow our blog to receive updates on the planning committee's progress and opportunities for how to get involved or support this celebration.
