Brighten up your property with some beautiful flowers from the Manito Fall Plant Sale. The Friends of Manito (TFM) are celebrating their 25th Anniversary with a Plant Sale on Saturday, August 29th, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be a wide variety of plants to choose from including perennials, annuals, shrubs, vines, long blooming plants, ornamentals, edibles, plants that attract hummingbirds, and many more. Feel free to bring the kids along for some fun activates being put on by The Friends of Manito as well as some great music by the Barking Katz. There will also be refreshments and a raffle to enter to win prizes plus memorabilia available for purchase.

If you have gardening questions, Master Gardeners will be there to answer them, so take advantage and pick their brains for some useful information! Join us to celebrate TFM's 25 year anniversary!

Location: East of Gaiser Conservatory in Manito Park (4 West 21st Ave).  For a complete list of plants for sale along with photographs to inspire visit thefriendsofmanito.org

The Friends of Manito is an organization with more than 100 volunteers who work to produce abundant garden plants to sell. The group works to fundraise for various projects within Manito Park! Some of their recent projects include the Nishinomiya-Tsutakawa Japanese Garden waterfall pathway and the upper park picnic shelter. New projects for 2015 include a pergola off of the Rose Garden.
