This week on the Mayor’s Minute, the city announced a new economic development area partnership on the West Plains that will attract new manufacturing and aerospace development and grow jobs in the area. The designation, known as a Public Development Authority, is a partnership between the City of Spokane, Spokane County and the Spokane International Airport. The area includes the airport property plus some bordering property west, south and east of the airport.
