October 2-6 is Customer Service Week

In 1992, National Customer Service Week was proclaimed a national event by the U.S. Congress. This year National Customer Service week is October 2nd through 6th!  The City of Spokane is celebrating by recognizing you, our wonderful customers.

Stop by My Spokane Customer Service or the Development Services Center on the first and third floors of City Hall any day this week and enter to win a fantastic raffle prize.  Callers to 311 who provide an updated email address will also be entered to win our daily drawing, which includes a free snowshoe adventure for two on Mt. Spokane from our Parks and Recreation Division or a “Behind-the-Velvet-Ropes” tour for two of the classic Campbell House in Browne’s Addition through our Historic Preservation Office and the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture. We’re also running a promotion for the chance to have one month of your City of Spokane utility bill paid – just call 311 or visit www.myspokane311.org and sign up for paperless billing anytime next week.

If you are out and about downtown Spokane this week, but your travel plans do not include City Hall, keep your eyes out for Random Acts of Parking. You might just be treated to free parking by one of our Parking Enforcement Officers! Even if your plans for the week do not involve the City of Spokane, we hope our citizens know how much we appreciate them. We look forward to serving you in the future.
