Officers from the Spokane Police Department (SPD) participated in No Shave November helping to raise awareness and money for the Community Cancer Fund.
Wanting to make a difference herself, Detective Amy Woodyard upped the ante for those participating.
“I lost my mom to cancer and have several friends fighting the battle right now,” says Woodyard. “I think this is a great cause and I wanted to do my part.”
Woodyard is sponsoring a $250 prize for the officer that grows the BEST facial hair for No Shave November campaign.
SPD would like the community’s help in determining who grew the BEST facial hair. A few of the officers that participated have submitted photos. Voting will remain open until Wednesday, December 13 at 5 p.m.
