How Are You Hacking Washington?

Merriam-Webster defines hacking as, “a clever tip or technique for doing or improving something.”

And when it comes to enjoying the best things about the great state of Washington without the crowds and costs found in the Puget Sound area, Spokane residents are hacking indeed.

Living in the Evergreen State has its perks. We have four distinct seasons, your choice of outdoor activities, and a diverse workforce. However, when speaking about our state, the City of Spokane is often overlooked.

Spokane is truly a hidden gem. We have short commutes, a growing job market, multiple higher education institutions and so much more. Our city is surrounded by natural beauty; in the summer locals enjoy numerous area lakes and in the winter they ski at their choice of five nearby resorts.

Spokanites are enjoying a great work/life balance that’s getting harder and harder to attain in the Seattle area. Our living expenses are almost half the cost of those in the Puget Sound. We spend less time commuting and more time living our lives. And businesses are able to find a skilled workforce while lowering the cost of everything. These are only a few ways we’re #HackingWashington.
