The Friends of Manito (TFM) will present its annual Children’s Renaissance Faire on Saturday, Sept 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Manito Park, east of Duncan Garden on Tekoa Street. The event is FREE and open to everyone.

The Gossamer Fairy Glade and a large Catapult are being provided by the Spokane Renaissance Faire. Kids will learn about the Renaissance period, make crafts, collect treasures in self-made pouches, have their faces painted by a professional, and participate in games and art activities.

Families who come dressed in Renaissance clothing (if possible), become knights and ladies of the court. This annual event is great fun for kids and a cultural event for the whole family.
