2:31 p.m. - Featuring the most public skating in Spokane, ice skating begins October 23 and runs through March 2 at the Ice Palace in Riverfront Park.

Fall Leaf Festival on October 26

10:37 a.m. - Volunteers from local organizations will be at the annual Fall Leaf Festival on October 26, at the John A. Finch Arboretum, 1299 South F Street

Burning of the bond at the creek at Qualchan

10:36 a.m. - The Parks and Recreation Golf Committee will be holding a “burning of the bond ceremony” following their monthly committee meeting right at 9 a.m.
