Burning of the bond (mortgage) at the creek at Qualchan

The Parks and Recreation Golf Committee will be holding its monthly meeting at Qualchan, 301 East Meadowlane between 7 and 9 a.m., with the “burning ceremony” following the meeting right at 9 a.m.

On Wednesday, October 16th the four Spokane City golf courses will hold a “Burn the Mortgage Party” to celebrate the final payment on the Creek at Qualchan bond.

All four courses plan to celebrate with a roll back of prices on green fees, carts, food and beverage at all four courses for one day only.

Players can call for a tee time beginning now to join in the Celebration.

About the Golf Program

The Spokane Parks and Recreation Golf Division maintains and operates four championship municipal golf courses all less than ten minutes from downtown Spokane. Enjoy excellent facilities, beautiful scenery, and challenges for the beginner or professional. The courses include Indian Canyon, Downriver, Esmeralda and the Creek at Qualchan. The courses are operated as an enterprise fund that is not supported by tax dollars. Spokane’s courses welcome major tournaments from all over the country.
