Rain or shine, dozens of volunteers from local organizations will be taking part in the annual Fall Leaf Festival on Saturday, October 26, at the John A. Finch Arboretum, 1299 South F Street (Sunset Blvd & Woodland Blvd).
Join in the fun of jumping into a gigantic pile of leaves. Learn more about composting, urban forestry, gardening and much, much more.
The public is invited to bring a picnic lunch and explore the Arboretum grounds. Our trees are right on schedule, displaying their brilliant changing colors.
This free event is presented by the Parks and Recreation Department with the thought that the health and well-being of individuals and the community are directly related to involvement in leisure activities.
Come join us Saturday, October 26, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
For more information and a map to the Arboretum please see the attached flyer.
