Veterans Court Capital Improvements Will Temporarily Limit Some Access to Centennial Trail

Improvements will include trail lighting, irrigation, new plant material and enhanced pedestrian pathways.

What: The City of Spokane Parks and Recreation Department capital project is underway with landscaping improvements to Veterans Court that will limit trail access during the work week.

Where: The Centennial Trail will be closed weekdays from the corner of Post St. and Bridge Ave. to the west side of the Monroe Street Bridge. Trail users are asked to use alternate routes during the construction period.

When: Wednesday, July 16 to approximately Friday, September 5, 2014.

Timeline: The Centennial Trail will be closed 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday during construction.
