Spokane, Wash., Aug 18, 2014: The Riverfront Park Spokane Falls SkyRide in Riverfront Park may experience some temporary and unplanned closures August 20-21 as Avista wraps up a rock relocation project at the Monroe Street Dam located in Huntington Park.

The work requires use of a 250-ton crane to remove rocks that had accumulated from high and extended river flows during the past two springs. The rock was relocated downstream of the dam where it will continue acting as trout spawning habitat in the Spokane River system.

For more information on the availability of the SkyRide please see the www.SpokaneRiverfrontPark.com website.
