City of Spokane crews continue to assess damage as a result of the windstorm on November 17th. Due to safety concerns presented by downed trees, Patrick S. Byrne Park, located near Walton and Lidgerwood in north Spokane, is closed. Additionally, Webster Park, located near Walton & “I” St., also in north Spokane is closed.

These parks have been cordoned off and community members are urged to stay away due to downed trees, downed power lines and other safety concerns.

A number of parks have been impacted by the storm and as crews continue to assess damage, other park and park facility closures are possible.
