Riverfront Park Ice Palace and Other Attractions Closed Today

Park Board considers adoption of 2016 budget

Oct. 1 at 5:09 p.m. - The City of Spokane Park Board will consider the adoption of the proposed 2016 Parks and Recreation Division budget at the next Park Board meeting.


Annual Pig Out in the Park This Week in Riverfront Park

City of Spokane Golf Launches New Online Tee Time Booking System

Aug. 25 at 11:50 a.m. - Online Tee Time allows for an enhanced, online customer service experience while scheduling a tee time at any of the city golf courses.

City Parks Security Conducts Targeted Patrols at Manito Park

Demolition of Under the Freeway Skate Park Scheduled for Aug. 3

July 23 at 2:31 p.m. - The City of Spokane will begin demolition of the Under the Freeway (UTF) Skate Park on Monday, August 3rd, 2015.

Make a Splash Initiative Offers Free Swim Lessons for Local Children

Lane closures on Ben Garnett Way begin July 14

July 9 at Midnight - Starting July 14, the Parks and Recreation Department will close down one southbound lane of Ben Garnett Way each day through July 17, 2015.

City extends splash pad hours

July 6 at 3:31 p.m. - Spokane Parks and Recreation splash pads will open at 9 am beginning Tuesday, adding two additional hours.

Howard Street Bridge South in Riverfront Park to close for testing

July 6 at 3:09 p.m. - Testing will temporarily close the Howard Street Bridge South in Riverfront Park while crews complete geotech testing for the design of new pilings.


Riverfront Park Hosts 4th of July Weekend Celebration
