City of Spokane Aquatics offers free swim lessons

The City of Spokane Parks and Recreation Division Aquatics Department, in partnership with the USA Swimming Foundation is offering swim scholarship opportunities this winter. The swim scholarships offer 30 minute swim lessons on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays between Dec.14 and Dec. 30, 2015.

Parks and Recreation can accommodate 18 spots per time slot, so please register as soon as possible by calling MySpokane at 509.755.CITY (2489).

Kids will be split into one of three levels - Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced – during the first class.

Central Spokane YMCA

  • 930 N. Monroe; 3 – 3:30 p.m., 3:30 – 4 p.m.

Spokane Valley YMCA

  • 2421 N. Discovery Place (Spokane Valley); 9:30 a.m. – 10 a.m., 10:15 a.m. – 10:45 a.m., 6 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

North Spokane YMCA

  • 10727 N. Newport Hwy; 10 – 10:30 a.m., 10:45 – 11:15 a.m., 5:15 – 5:45 p.m., 6 – 6:30 p.m.
