East of Gaiser Conservatory inside Manito Park
There will be a wide selection of drought tolerant, deer resistant, long-blooming, pollinator, edible, and easy care perennials, shrubs and vines, in addition to a boxed assortment of easy to grow succulents, and pre-planned garden designs in our popular Gardens-in-a-Box for sale. There will also be tropical plants and beautiful fall containers available, in addition to creative home and garden art. Members receive 10% off their purchases.
At this year's fall plant sale you will have the opportunity to learn:
Animal Nature Sanctuary will be at the plant sale. They offer rescue services not covered by other organizations in the Spokane area. This caring organization has taken in all species of animals from hermit crabs, frogs, ducks and ferrets, to boa constrictors and bearded dragons. With any donation of pet litter, pet food or other pet supplies brought to the sale, you will receive a gallon size perennial plant for free.
You'll also find music and kids activities, in addition to advice from Royal Upholstery & Fabric Center, Spokane Fireplace & Home, and the WSU Master Gardeners.

About the Friends of Manito
The Friends of Manito (TFM) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that provides improvement funds for the general enhancement of Manito Park in Spokane, WA. Over 100 volunteers work to produce three plant sales that provide the bulk of the fundraising efforts. TFM also offers educational programs and events to further promote the community’s use and enjoyment of Manito Park.
The Friends of Manito has contributed over $800,000 to Manito Park. Recent projects completed are the new gazebo in the Rose Garden to commemorate TFM’s 25th year anniversary, the picnic shelter at the upper Manito playground, hosta gardens near the Park Bench, enhancements to the Nishinomiya Tsutakawa Japanese garden and significant contributions to Mirror Pond Restoration Project.
