Sculpture celebrating family will be unveiled near Centennial Trail

A sculpture to celebrate family will be unveiled near the Centennial Trail by Kendall Yards overlooking the Spokane River, on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1 P.M. The title of the sculpture is “We Are Marshall.”
The sculpture was created by local artist Richard Warrington. It was commissioned and paid for by Dr. Suzan Entwistle Marshall, wife of Dr. John O. Marshall who passed away in 2016. The sculpture is a symbol and celebration of family.
It will stand approximately 6’ tall, made of corten steel with a chlorine treatment to give an aged appearance.

Centennial Trail in Kendall Yards, close to the Monroe Street Bridge underpass
The Joint Arts Committee, comprised of members of the Spokane Arts Commission and the Park Board, approved the art piece to appear on Park property. It was also approved by the full Park Board.
