Garbage, recycling, and yard waste services will be a day late all week, with Friday's pickup occurring on Saturday due to the Memorial Day holiday. The annual "Skate with the Chiefs" event returns in 2019!

The Spokane Chiefs invite fans to join the team at the Riverfront Park ice ribbon in downtown Spokane on Thursday, January 10 from 6-8 p.m.

Chiefs players will be on hand to skate with fans on the ice as well as sign autographs and take pictures.

Fans are encouraged to bring their own skates and/or helmets, but rentals are available at no cost.

The Sky Ribbon Cafe will also be open to fans during the event, offering a variety of food options to grab a quick bite to eat, including $1 sodas, $1 popcorn and $2 hot dogs.
