Riverfront Offers Open House for Event Organizers

April 19 open house for anyone looking to have events large and small, public and private

SPOKANE – Riverfront is planning an open house for anyone considering hosting an event at the park. The open house will take place on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 3 – 7 P.M. in the Pavilion and Looff Carrousel buildings.

The open house is meant for anyone looking to have an event, from a small child’s birthday party, to a wedding, to a corporate retreat, or larger public event. The open house will provide access to meeting spaces not typically open to the public during normal park hours, such as the Pavilion Sky Room, interior meeting rooms, and artist dressing rooms.

“Riverfront has a wide variety of indoor and outdoor spaces available for rent, and this is a great opportunity for people to come and learn about our facilities and services,” said Jon Moog, director of Riverfront Park. “Event planners will also learn about our venue grant program, which was developed to encourage first-time public events in of support cultural programming. This drop-in open house will provide a lot of information, and event staff will be on hand to answer questions.”

Topics will include venues details with sample set-ups, rates, support for birthdays/weddings/retreats, support for public events, food and beverage, Qualified Vendor program, and more.
