On Sunday, December 1st at 3 p.m., the Spokane Police Department will play a hockey game against the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office in the Spokane Arena to benefit the Behind the Badge Foundation.

Behind the Badge Foundation was created to honor officers who have suffered a line of duty death or catastrophic injury. Admittance to the law enforcement benefit game is free with a ticket to the Spokane Chiefs game later that night versus the Seattle Thunderbirds at 5 p.m.

The Spokane Chiefs will be holding a silent auction that night with all proceeds going to Behind the Badge and Chiefs Care. A pre-game ceremony will be conducted prior to the Chiefs game to recognize the Behind the Badge Foundation. Chief Straub and Sheriff Knezovich will be attending the event.

Anyone wishing to attend may park in the arena lot and enter at the main doors of the arena. Fans can come early to see the law enforcement game at 3 p.m. and remain for the 5 p.m. Spokane Chiefs vs. Seattle Thunderbirds. Employees, friends, and family can purchase tickets for these two events by calling 509.328.0450 and mention you would like the Spokane Police Department rate. ($14 for lower level, normally $18 and $11 for upper level, normally $15). All fans coming to the game through this offer will be entered into a drawing to win special prizes.
