SPD Responds to Stabbing; Victim Transported with Life-Threatening Injuries

Spokane Police respond to report of stabbing; one male victim transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries; the incident appears to be the result of a domestic dispute and is not believed to be random.

Today, 4-23-14 just before 3:30 pm, Spokane Police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1300 block of W. Boone. Officers arrived less than two minutes after the initial call and located a 52-year-old man with stab wounds. Medics were immediately called and the victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The male suspect, (25 years old) was taken into custody nearby.

The incident appears to be the result of a domestic dispute and does not appear to be random. Spokane Police detectives continue to investigate the incident.
