Spokane Police investigate robbery and non-life threatening shooting in N. Spokane. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Crime Check at 456.2233.

This morning, 7/17/2014, at approximately 4 a.m., Spokane Police received a call of a Robbery at the Apple Tree Inn in the 9500 block on N. Division. The victim, who had already left the location in a taxi cab, told a witness at the motel that his room had been broken into and he was assaulted. The witness called police. Patrol officers arrived on-scene minutes after the initial call and received information the victim had arrived at a local hospital via taxi cab with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Officers entered the room at the Apple Tree Inn, where the shooting is believed to have taken place and secured the scene. Major Crimes detectives responded to the location and continue to investigate.
