SPD Looks to Public to ID Sunset Grocery Robber

Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives are looking to the public to help identify a suspect who robbed Sunset Grocery on July 10th. Photos of the suspect are attached and a link to surveillance video is below. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 456.2233.

On 7/10/14, just before 10:30 pm, Spokane Police received a report of a Robbery at Sunset Grocery, located in the 1900 block of W. Sunset Blvd. The caller reported a male had entered the store, demanded cash and indicated he had a weapon. He fled the location with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers responded to the scene in less than one minute and set up a perimeter but were unable to locate the suspect

The suspect(pictured in the attached photos as well as the video link below) is described as:

  • A white male
  • Approximately 5’4” tall
  • Wearing a black baseball cap with a white and black bandana covering his face
  • He was also wearing red tennis shoes with white soles
