Spokane Police Investigate Church Burglary; Stained Glass Windows & Other Items Stolen

Spokane Police are investigating a Burglary that occurred early Sunday morning at All Saints Lutheran Church. The suspect(s) caused extensive damage to the church, stole five large, stained glass windows, and took four large, hand-carved decorative eggs. The cost to repair the damage, along with the value of the stolen items is estimated at more than $6,000.

On Sunday, 12/7/14, just before 7:30 a.m., Spokane Police received a report of a Burglary at the All Saints Lutheran Church, located in the 300 block of S. Spruce. The report indicated a suspect(s) had broken into the church, likely early that morning, had caused extensive damage to the facility, ransacked the kitchen, and had stolen several items including:

  • Five large, stained glass windows (photo attached). Each of the windows weighs approximately 20 lbs., and all were specially made for the church in the early 1900s.
  • Four large, hand-carved decorative eggs (no photo available).

Investigators are asking anyone who sees these stolen items or anyone who has any information on this incident to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.
