Suspect in apartment complex incident booked for 1st Degree Assault

Spokane Police have arrested a suspect, identified as 47-year-old Paul Sicurello, in a stabbing that occurred this afternoon at an apartment complex near Downtown Spokane. The victim was transported to the hospital and is listed in stable condition. SPD Major Crimes detectives are investigating the incident, but do not believe there are any outstanding suspects.

Today, at approximately 2:00 pm, Spokane Police responded to a report of a stabbing at an apartment complex in the 200 block of S. Wall St.

Witnesses indicated two males were engaged in a verbal altercation when one of the males stabbed the other male.  The victim was transported to the hospital, with what was originally thought to be life-threatening injuries. The victim’s condition has since been upgraded to stable condition.

 

Spokane Police detained and arrested a suspect, identified as 47-year-old Paul Sicurello. He was booked into the Spokane County Jail for 1st Degree Assault.

Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives continue to investigate this incident, however they do not believe there are any outstanding suspects.
