Spokane Police Look to Public to ID Stabbing Suspect

Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives are investigating an assault involving a woman who was stabbed while walking on W. 2nd Ave. between S. Post St. and S. Wall St.  Attached are photos of a possible suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.

On Sunday, January 25, 2015, at approximately 11:30 pm, Spokane Police responded to a business in the 400 block of W. Sprague on a report that a female at the location had suffered a stab wound. 

Responding officers located the adult female victim, determined she had suffered a stab wound and also had a metal blade lodged in her back.

The victim received medical aid at the scene and was transported to the hospital for further treatment.

The victim indicated the stabbing had likely occurred when she was walking on W. 2nd Ave. between S. Post St. and S. Wall St. on her way to the 400 block of W. Sprague.

The suspect in this incident is described only as a person wearing a dark hoodie with the hood pulled up. It is not clear if the suspect is male or female.
