Additional Assault Witnesses Urged to Contact SPD

Police continue investigating assault on transgender woman

Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives continue to investigate an assault on a transgender woman. Several people, who are believed to have witnessed the incident, are being asked to contact Detective Turman by calling Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

 

The investigation into an incident involving the assault of a transgender woman in Downtown Spokane on Friday is ongoing. Major Crimes detectives are actively seeking three individuals, who are believed to have witnessed the assault, to gather additional information on the incident.

   

The individuals are described as two young adult men who were sitting at the bar and one young adult female who was sitting in a booth at the time of the incident. All three of these individuals are believed to have witnessed the assault and are asked to contact Detective Turman by calling Crime Check at 456.2233.
