Spokane Police Investigate Late Night Stabbing

Spokane Police respond to the report of a stabbing in the 100 block of south Washington. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries during the incident. Major Crimes Detectives do have a suspect in the assault, 42-year-old Alexander McNack.

On 05/14/2015, just before 9:00pm, officers responded to the report of a stabbing at the Downtowner Motel. Officers were on scene in less than 3 minutes and provided first aid to the victim who was bleeding heavily. Once medics arrived, they were able to determine that the victim’s wounds were non-life threatening and she was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

During the patrol investigation, information was developed naming Alexander McNack as the suspect in the assault. Anyone who has information on this incident or McNack’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.
