Major Crimes Investigating Suspicious Death on Hamilton

Spokane Police Major Crimes’ detectives are investigating a suspicious death in the 2000 block of N. Hamilton. Hamilton is closed in both directions between Ermina and Baldwin as the investigation continues.

Just after 5:30am this morning, 07/20/2015, Spokane Police received a report of an injured, possibly deceased, male in the front yard of a house in the 2000 block of N. Hamilton. Officers responded to the scene and found a male deceased at the location. There was trauma to the body, so Major Crimes responded to handle the investigation.

At this time detectives are talking to witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage from the businesses nearby. Hamilton is expected to remain closed while the scene is processed, so please take an alternate route. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.
