Spokane Police Investigating Homicide on the North Side

The Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating a homicide in the 400 block of west Central. Officers responded to a home in that location after receiving a call of a shooting. A male was found deceased at the scene.

Tonight, Dec. 26th, 2015, just before 8:00pm, Spokane Police Patrol Officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 400 block of west Central.  Responding officers discovered a deceased male at the residence. The Major Crimes Unit was then called in to assist in the investigation.

It appears at this time the male died of a gunshot wound. Detectives do not believe this is a random shooting and are currently processing the scene. The Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the victim and manner of death.
