Suspect Arrested for Last Night's Homicide

Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives arrested Brian L. Hall (43) early this morning for 1st Degree Murder in connection with last night’s shooting in north Spokane.

During last night’s homicide investigation, detectives quickly developed information suggesting a person of interest in the shooting on west Central that resulted in the death of a male at the location. In less than 8 hours from the original call, at around 3:30am this morning, police took Hall into custody without incident. He was later booked for 1st Degree Murder.

Last night’s release:

The Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating a homicide in the 400 block of west Central. Officers responded to a home in that location after receiving a call of a shooting. A male was found deceased at the scene.

Tonight, Dec. 26th, 2015, just before 8:00pm, Spokane Police Patrol Officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 400 block of west Central. Responding officers discovered a deceased male at the residence.

The Major Crimes Unit was then called in to assist in the investigation. It appears at this time the male died of a gunshot wound. Detectives do not believe this is a random shooting and are currently processing the scene. The Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the victim and manner of death.
