Friday night, Feb. 5, 2016 just after 8:30pm, Spokane Police responded to the report of a vehicle/pedestrian crash near the intersection of Division and Euclid. The initial investigation indicates the vehicle, driven by Seth Riddle (AKA Fagan), was traveling northbound on Division approaching Euclid and collided with the pedestrian who appeared to have been on the north side of the intersection in the unmarked crosswalk.
Officers, as part of standard practice in serious injury crashes, asked for a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) to respond to the scene. After being evaluated by the DRE, Riddle was booked into Spokane County Jail for Vehicular Assault. Riddle was also driving on a suspended license which may be charged at a later time.
The pedestrian is in critical, but stable, condition at an area hospital. No one else was injured in this crash.
