UPDATE

2/23/2016, 11:44 p.m.

Precious and Princess have been found and Crystal Kortness is in custody.

The Spokane Police Division is asking for the public’s help locating two missing children. Princess Angle (11) and Precious Kortness (14) were last seen with their mother, Crystal Kortness (28), at an area hospital. Crystal does not have custody of the children. They are currently residing with another relative.

Today, Feb. 23, 2016, just after 1:00pm, Spokane Police were notified about two children who had been removed from a relative’s home by their non-custodial parent. The report was that 11-year-old Princess Angle and 14-year-old Precious Kortness were visited by their biological mother, 28-year-old Crystal Kortness, at the home they were living in sometime yesterday. During that visit, Crystal recommended she take the girls to the hospital for treatment for a minor skin condition and left with them via public transit. Since leaving the hospital, Crystal has not returned the girls to their home and has not made any attempt to contact the relative they currently reside with.

Princess is described as a white female, approximately 5’, 80lbs, with blond hair and blue eyes. Precious is described as a white female, 5’4”, 180lbs, with blond hair and blue eyes. Crystal is described as a white female, 5’6”, 150lbs, with blue eyes (unk hair color at this time).

Police are concerned about the children’s welfare and currently have probable cause to arrest Crystal for 1st Degree Custodial Interference. Anyone who sees Crystal, Princess, or Precious or knows their whereabouts is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.
