Spokane Police Identify Suspect from Today’s Stabbing

Derrick Bonato has been arrested by Spokane Police near downtown without incident.  
The Spokane Police Department would like to thank everyone for their assistance.

Spokane Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating the suspect from today’s stabbing in West Spokane.

Spokane Police Major Crime Detectives have developed probable cause to arrest 35 year old Derrick G Bonato for Homicide. Bonato is described as a white male, approximately 5’10”, 200 lbs., with brown hair and a long goatee.

Bonato may still be armed. If anyone knows of his whereabouts they are asked to call 911 immediately. Do not approach him.

Detectives are still at the scene of the crime collecting evidence.
