Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives are investigating a homicide in North Spokane. Spokane Police responded to several calls of a shooting on the 1300 block of W Maxwell Ave. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
This morning, July 30, 2016, around 3:19 a.m., Spokane Police responded to multiple reports of a shooting on the 1300 block of W Maxwell Ave. Several callers reported hearing several shots in the area. Spokane Police officers arrived on scene to find a male deceased. Several witnesses were interviewed by officers on scene.
Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives are processing the scene at this time. The streets around the crime scene will blocked off and closed for several hours. Additional information regarding this situation will be released by the Major Crimes Unit.
