SPD Investigates Robbery on the South Hill

The Spokane Police are investigating the robbery of Amerimart on Spokane’s south side. The incident occurred Monday evening. The suspect indicated he was armed and fled on foot. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.

This evening, December 5, 2016, just after 10:15 pm, Spokane Police received a report of a Robbery at the Amerimart located in the 3900 block of east 29th. The suspect entered the business, indicated he was armed and demanded money from the clerk. He fled west bound on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers arrived on scene within four minutes of the initial call. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male, mid 20’s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches with a thin build. He was wearing grey sweatpants and white sneakers.

This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
