The Spokane Police Department and other community partners will host the third Youth and Justice Forum on Friday at Spokane Falls Community College from 9:15 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The forum gives students positive exposure to the criminal justice system. The forum encourages students to think about and understand their legal rights and obligations as a community member.

Sessions and demonstrations are designed to give students a new perspective on the criminal justice system. They will also encourage students to think about a career in criminal justice. The forum is open to students in 7th to 12th grade.

This will be a well-rounded experience thanks to our many partners, which include: Spokane County Bar Association Diversity Section, Washington State Minority & Justice Commission, City of Spokane, Spokane Public Schools, Spokane Police Department, Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, Washington State Patrol, GU Law School, Kalispel Tribe, and Spokane Falls Community College.

What: Youth and Justice Forum

When: Friday, December 9, 2016 from 9:15 a.m. to 2 p.m.
