SPD Investigating a Fatality Accident

The Spokane Police Department is investigating a fatality accident involving a pedestrian and vehicle.

Saturday, February 11, just after 7pm, Spokane Police and emergency crews responded to Division and Euclid for a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. Officers arrived and observed the pedestrian in critical condition. Medical personal transported the pedestrian to the Hospital where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries. At this time, the driver of the vehicle is cooperative. There is no reason to believe he was impaired at the time of the collision. As of now, there are no criminal charges pending.

Division Street was shut down for hours as investigators investigated the scene. Police are asking that if anybody witnessed the collision, please call crime check at 456-2233 so Officers can contact you.

The victims is a male and his name will be released later by the medical examiner’s office.
