The Spokane Police are reminding everyone, including the Bloomies, to remove items from their vehicles when unattended.
Most vehicle prowlings are the direct result of items left in plain view.
With Bloomsday this weekend there will be numerous visitors that are not accustomed to the vigilance needed to keep thieves out of their cars. What may seem like a trivial item to you will be enough of an incentive for a thief to break a window.
As always, if you see something, say something. Report any suspicious activity to Crime Check 456-2233 or 911 in an emergency.
